Who Am I?

First day back from the Memorial Day weekend, and I’m already feeling a bit overwhelmed, and a LOT fired up.
Why?
1. I got some new Rich Schefren video’s to study.
2. I read some of Gloria Mayfield Banks blog (and followed her, OF course!)
3. I just am too blankety-blank STUBBORN to think these other folks are any smarter than I am. If Schefren, Kern, Filsaime, and Yaro can do it — so can I.
I watched a lot of Kern’s stuff over the weekend. (Well, no where near as much as I wanted to). One thing I want to work on is deciding upon how to better convey my “image” to my readers.
I always say I see myself as the bridge – y’know between the have’s & have nots. Having grown up in the deep heart of Chicago’s Black Stone Rangers neighborhood, yet having had the good fortune (read: MOM) to travel to places like Haiti, Caracas, Paris, and experience luxuries & — more importantly — mindsets that others in my neighborhood DIDN’T, I see myself as possessing a unique perspective.
I know the status a Northwestern education conveys. I also know the bullshit behind it. (Sorry, to all my Christian readers). I know the pure, quiet joy of reading, and I know the pain of seeing that …
